Born in the Core, lived far-from, seen just 'bout every damn place between. Finally got my own ship, time to start making my own way on my own terms in this crap-hill 'verse. Don't expect things to go especial' smooth, though. Probably wind up hiring untrustworthy or troublesome crew, or take on tourists more trouble than fare's worth, or maybe that little situation in the secondary cargo hold will stop with the cute and start with the bad.

I cook better than maybe most scrappy mid-bulk transport captains, maybe even better than your ma. I definitely cook better than my ma, but she was crazy in ways don't make for gourmet vittles. I ain't so crazy and I can cook, which I call a win.

Maybe this is about reinvention, a little. Maybe it's about being someone other than who I been my whole life so far. I ain't runnin', just tryin' to live.
